Figurative Sculpture Triptych: Birth - a white glazed ceramic sculpture of a Rubenesque seated nude woman
Saturday, March 12, 2005 by Benjamin Bader
"Birth" was created while working with a nude model in 2005 as part of a small figurative sculpture triptych that also included "Life" and "Death". This white glazed ceramic carving depicts a Rubenesque girl seated with her legs curled up to her chest and her arms around her knees. The entire triptych was sold to a private collector shortly after they were completed and photographed.
